The self-serve menu editor
Menu, bake board, and the monthly special all render from content files. On Full Service the owner edits them any morning — or texts us to — so the site tells the truth daily. That is the plan this demo exists to show.
About this demo · The honest part
The bakery, its baker, the address, and the phone number are fiction. The name was checked (2026-07-15): no bakery or café anywhere is called The Proofing Box — outside this demo, the words only name the warm box dough rises in. The site is kept out of search on purpose and labeled on every page, so no working shop is ever shadowed by it.

An “out of the oven at…” schedule is the site’s hero object — on the home page as a framed board, in full on /mornings. Freshness is the product; the board makes it the interface.
“Or sold out” is printed in the hours, laminated items carry their real odds, and the menu page says plainly that gone means gone. No fake scarcity — and no fake abundance either.
The framed photo slot on /visit is labeled for a real photograph of the real counter. No stock bread, no AI pastry, no invented testimonials — if it isn’t real, it’s a labeled slot.
This build is the Full Service plan — $299/mo on a 12-month agreement (or $1,250 setup + $249/mo, month-to-month). Editing is the product: board, menu, and special stay current because keeping them current is what the plan is. Real prices, published, at chavezdigitalworks.com/pricing.
