Behind the counter · For owners

What the owner sees

Every other page here plays the part of a neighborhood bakery. This one breaks character, because if you run a bakery the part that matters is the machinery: how a price changes, how the case says sold out, and how nobody drives across town for a croissant that is already gone.

A menu editor you use yourself

Mark it sold out before the line does

The whole menu on this site is one file. Change a price, or mark the last kouign-amann sold out the second it goes, and the case here, the menu page, and your Google listing all agree by the next breath. Try it.

Working demo. Nothing saves, and it resets on reload.

Seasonal specials handled

The board and the special, changed the morning they change

The apricot galette on the counter goes up when Palisade fruit shows up and comes down when it stops, and a bake time on the board moves the day it moves. The workflow is a text message: say what changed, and it is live the same morning on the site and the Google listing. The plan covers up to 12 edits a month with priority turnaround, and in practice a board or special change lands the same day.

How "we text the list" actually works

Telling people it is gone, on purpose

You will not find a single invented review on this demo. What a real build gets is the machinery the bakery already promises: a free list people join at the counter, and one honest text the morning the laminated case runs out.

  1. The list is free at the counter

One text when the laminated case runs out. Nothing else, ever, and you can leave any time you like.

  2. The morning it goes, one message

When the last kouign-amann is gone, the list hears once. No daily specials, no "we miss you," and the number is never sold or shared.

  3. Nobody drives over for nothing

A croissant that stopped existing at 9:40 should not cost someone a trip across town. That is the whole reason the list is here.

The Proofing Box

Laminated is sold out for today. Croissants, pain au chocolat, and the kouign-amann all went by 9:50. Bread and coffee are still on the counter until 2. Next bake is tomorrow at 8.

Why this demo holds back

What is deliberately missing

No stock photos of someone else's croissants. No invented five-star quotes. No "family recipe since 1974." No structured data feeding a fictional address into real map results. A demo you can trust is the best evidence your real site gets built the same way, with labeled slots where your actual bread goes, shot on your actual counter.
